Cheaper To Pay Than Go To Court

A physician's point of view on medical malpractice.

I’ve written before about medical malpractice and the rising costs for physicians of all specialties. One of the things we as physicians really fear is malpractice lawsuits by patients. We are taught in medical school and in training that the number one way to prevent a lawsuit is to talk to the patient and address their concerns.

I am totally agree with Mark Castrillo. He has point that all cases are not settled between doctors and victims. Each victim has knowledge of their rights to a general injury lawyer.

Sad to say, not all cases can be settled by the victims and the doctors alone. There should be an intervention of a personal injury lawyer. This is just to ensure that the victims are aware of their rights to a general injury claim. Their presence can also be helpful, as doctors would not feel too confident about their own wrongdoing.
