The Real Liberal Agenda

A rant about politics, cigarettes, and car accidents.

Third, this backwards media and liberal agenda is now fighting against peoples right to smoke publicly because it causes cancer and the effects of secondhand smoke can affect those that do not smoke, even in the outdoors. So why is that so important? Less people die of cancer or cancer related deaths than in car accidents, which tops as the Nations number one cause of deaths and fatalities only second to abortions. But you will never hear them cry about that.

Cruel History Of Deportation

This post points out the obvious: American firms avoid workman's compensation payments to Mexican employees whether they work in the U.S. or for a Mexican subsidiary.

History has shown the Mexican labor pool is heavily utilized during times of economic boom and repatriation during economic downturns. To American capitalist the border does not exist when it comes to exploitation. When it comes to minimum wage requirements, health care benefits, workman's compensation insurance, and social security plans, both Migrant workers and employees of American firms in Mexico have always been excluded.

Vioxx Trial Update

The latest on the Vioxx trials here:

As you all know, this is a big week in the Vioxx litigation, and many analysts have been discussing the two Vioxx trials currently being litigated in Atlantic City, NJ with a majority of opinion being that these are "make or break" trials for the plaintiffs. I don't necessarily agree that these are cases the plaintiffs "must win" or the Vioxx litigation is doomed, but rather that the arguments, strategy and tactics on long term use cases will again be refined by both sides based on the facts of the case and the eventual outcome. Vioxx isn't going away, win or lose for the plaintiffs, and this trial will show how much further they need to go to get to the facts and evidence needed in each legitimate case to bring in a successful verdict.

McDonalds Food Disclosure

Some rough-'n-tumble language on McDonalds, ingredients, and class action law suits.

Eventhough McDonald’s allergy information on their corporate website claims their french fries to be Gluten-free, THEY LIE! Don’t the bastards know some of us desperate for something other than turkey and rice rely on this information??? Fuckers. To top it off they are cooked in oil that contains dairy! Oh now they pissed me off. I should hop on that class action law suit just for the fun of it.
