Did Merck Pull Vioxx When It Said?
Hard to know what made Merck decide to pull Vioxx finally.
Of course, Merck claims that they pulled Vioxx off the market as soon as they realized the dangers after a 2004 study. I call a huge bullshit flag on that one. Chances are they pulled the drug off the market when someone threatened to make the damning data public, which would have resulted in an even worse public relations fiasco than they're dealing with now.
