Vioxx Recall Drives Up Drug Prices
Mr. Supply, meet Mr. Demand:
The drug most affected was Vioxx’s primary competitor, Mobic (Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals), which saw prices rise between 7% and 11% depending on the dosage.
